What do you do when you have prayed, obeyed, surrendered...and you are still waiting?

The holding place can make even a woman of faith restless.

You start searching for answers. Reworking the strategy. Looking for another door. Asking for another confirmation. Trying to determine what you missed or what you need to do next.

And sometimes, without realizing it, we start playing junior Holy Ghost.

We try to help God do what only God can do.

But what if this season is not asking you to figure God out?

What if it is inviting you to know Him deeper?

This September, Women of Worth is returning to Radical Faith, but we are going deeper:

Radical Faith in the Holding Place

This is faith that does not require an outcome to confirm who God is.

It is faith that can experience the closed door and still know He is faithful. Faith that can look at what appears insufficient and still know He is Provider.

Faith that can sit in uncertainty without manufacturing movement simply because waiting feels uncomfortable.

Because sometimes the holding place is not where God has forgotten you.

It is where He is revealing Himself to you.

Our declaration throughout this journey will be simple:

His character never changes. I trust His strategy. I rest in what He has spoken.

Our 3-Day Journey

Day 1: EMPTY | Nothing...Except

We will confront the places that feel depleted, delayed, rejected, or empty and ask God to reveal what we have overlooked because we were focused on what was missing.

Day 2: RELEASE | Pour It Out

We will go beneath what we say we have surrendered and confront our attachment to the timeline, method, outcome, or strategy we still want to control.

What is underneath your grip?

Day 3: KNOW | Confident Rest

We will move from needing God to prove Himself through an outcome to resting in the character of the Father we already know.

This Fast is for the Woman Who...

• Knows God spoke but is struggling with what she currently sees

• Is tired of trying to figure out what God is doing

• Has experienced rejection, disappointment, delay, depletion, or unexpected “no's”

• Recognizes that waiting has created anxiety, striving, or a need to control

• Has surrendered the situation but may still be holding tightly to the outcome

• Wants to hear God clearly in the holding place

• Is ready to move from restless faith into confident rest

What You Will Experience

For three days, we will intentionally create space for God through fasting, Scripture, prayer, worship, biblical teaching, journaling, and sisterhood.

Our devotional, Conversations in a Cave, will help us explore what happens when the places that feel isolating or uncertain become places where we learn to hear the still, small voice of God again.

This is not about religious performance, and it is not about fasting to make God give us the outcome we want.

It is about becoming still enough to hear Him and secure enough in His character to trust what He says.

Why This Fast Matters

The widow in 2 Kings 4 was surrounded by evidence of what she did not have.

Her need was real.

Her debt was real.

Her depletion was real.

When Elisha asked what she had in her house, her first response was:

“Nothing...except.”

And that “except” became the place where God's strategy began.

Perhaps September is not about God giving you something completely different.

Perhaps it is about Him showing you what remains, revealing what is underneath your restlessness, and teaching you to trust His strategy with what is already in your hands.

You do not have to be the Holy Spirit.

God knows what He is doing.

And there comes a point in radical faith when knowing that has to be enough to let your soul rest.

READY TO POSSESS THE PROMISE?

We have spent months learning to surrender, obey, activate our faith, remain anchored, and possess what God has promised.

Now our faith goes deeper.

• Can you trust God when you cannot trace Him?

• Can you stop requiring the outcome to prove His character?

• Can you obey the first thing He said without demanding another confirmation?

• Can you become still enough in the holding place to hear what He has been trying to reveal?

That is where we are going in September.

Not simply toward an answer.

Toward a deeper knowing of our Father.

His character never changes. I trust His strategy. I rest in what He has spoken.

If you are in the holding place, you do not have to rush your way out of it.
